The Medec Safety frog is our latest development in patient safety and is designed to prevent Volutrauma’s and reduces the chance on Barotrauma.
The Safety frog is a ventilator safety valve which fits on every anaesthesia unit, independent of brand or model. You can easily upgrade your existing anaesthesia unit with the safety frog by connecting it in your patient system and it will be operational immediately.
The Safety frog is a unique solution to prevent Volutrauma’s. It does not interfere with any ventilation mode and respects the settings on your machine.
